The meeting took place in a cordial and friendly atmosphere. Mr Eric JOSSERON was accompanied by Mr Jean-Noël BOUASSI-BOUASSI, General Coordinator of African Affairs for the Perenco Group, and Mr Adoum WEDDEYE, Government Relations Officer.

The purpose of the meeting was twofold: to introduce the new PCM General Manager to his COTCO counterpart, and to discuss topics of mutual interest related to cooperation between the two companies.

Mr Jean-Paul SIMO NJONOU praised the excellent partnership between PetroChad Mangara and COTCO, which began in 2014 when PCM started shipping crude oil via the Chad-Cameroon pipeline. He also highlighted how this collaboration has continued and strengthened since PCM’s acquisition by the Perenco Group in 2022.

The two General Managers also discussed prospects, particularly in the context of major projects currently underway at COTCO. This meeting is an important step in strengthening the relationship between the two companies, demonstrating their shared commitment to continuing their successful collaboration in support of developing the oil sector in the region.
