This donation of new computers supports the development of tomorrow’s talent.
The Government Bilingual Technical High School Nkolbisson in Yaoundé is taking a significant step forward in its digital transformation. On 8 May 2026, as part of its corporate social responsibility programme, the Cameroon Oil Transportation Company (COTCO) donated 25 brand-new, fully equipped desktop computers to this leading school. This donation will enable the 2,500 students to strengthen their practical IT skills and access modern educational resources. These state-of-the-art computers will better prepare them for the demands of an increasingly digital professional world.
During the official ceremony, Jean D. Fosso, Operations Manager and representative of COTCO’s General Manager, Jean-Paul Simo Njonou, reiterated the company’s commitment to the education and training of young Cameroonians beyond its core mission of transporting Chadian crude oil to international markets.
Elie Mwanjo Nsangue, subdivisional officer of Yaoundé VII, said that this donation would reinforce the school’s excellence: “With this donation, the school will surpass what we have achieved so far”. He also expressed a desire for support with maintaining the equipment to ensure its longevity.
The students were equally delighted. “We now have a computer room with brand-new equipment”, said Amabega Beyomo, who is convinced that it will enhance practical lessons. Nathanael Betche Kemi promised to make “good use” of it so that future generations could also benefit.
The Government Bilingual Technical High School Nkolbisson is the 23rd high school along the Chad-Cameroon pipeline to receive support from COTCO. The company has now donated over 645 computers in total.
