Job description:
The Maintenance System Quality Advisor reports to the Maintenance Superintendent.
He is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the strategic activities contained in the five-year pipeline maintenance plan. He is also responsible for the quality of maintenance best practices for the management of major projects. He will intensively participate in obsolescence resolution program. He works to ensure the execution of the approved five-years plan, resulting in the availability, reliability, and safety of installations in compliance with regulatory, environmental, and other requirements applicable to the maintenance of onshore and offshore pipeline facilities.
His responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Developing and updating five-years preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans for pipeline facilities in
collaboration with production site teams.
– Planning interventions and coordinating teams for the preparation of major projects and initiatives.
– Coordinate teams to develop specifications and expenditure authorizations.
– Monitor performance indicators for major equipment (MTBF, MTTR, availability).
– Oversee resource acquisition schedules for major projects.
– Ensure compliance with standards (API, ASME, ISO, local regulations).
– Participate in and/or conduct audits of important activities, regulatory inspections, and risk analyses.
Ideal candidate profile:
– The candidate must hold a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, or equivalent.
– Knowledge of industrial facilities and/or pipelines (onshore/offshore).
– Proficiency and experience in project management (PMP, etc.).
– Proficiency in planning methods and project management tools (Gantt, PMO, condition-based maintenance).
– Proficiency in maintenance software (CMMS/ SAP, etc.) and Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Required professional experience and knowledge:
– Project management on/offshore from the basic design memorandum to completion, schedule, and budget control.
– Versed in change management, from initiation to completion, including documentation and training.
– Demonstrating several cases for strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Good communication and teamwork skills.
– Experience in industrial facility maintenance (Oil & gas sector is preferred).
Required skills and qualifications:
– Proficiency in project management, third-party contracts, scope of work, and supervision in accordance with the operations management system (OMS) and procurement policies.
– Proficiency in operations management systems, particularly in the areas of safety, health, and the environment.
